Neither this app nor its developer collects anything about you.

The app requires no account of its own, no sign-up and no profile.

The app sends no requests of its own, and every puzzle on the device, free or unlocked, plays with the network switched off. To show the German pack's price, to sell it and to restore it, the app asks Google Play or the App Store through their own billing service, under the store account you use there; that needs a connection, and the store's own privacy terms cover it.

The app also checks the store for the pack price and existing purchase when it starts, even if you do not buy anything. Confirmed access is cached so unlocked puzzles remain playable offline.

It writes down your progress — the letters you have placed, which puzzles you have solved and how many hints you used — under sifrovko.progress.v1 for the English puzzles and sifrovko.progress.de.v1 for the German ones, and the language you chose under sifrovko.edition, in the app's local storage on the device. Once Google Play or the App Store confirms the German pack, the app also notes that it is unlocked, under cryptogram.pack.unlock.v1, so the pack opens offline. It does not keep purchase tokens or receipts. Deleting the app removes local progress and the unlock cache. Store ownership and copies already included in a device backup are separate.

Your progress is kept on your device, and Android's own backup may include it if you have that switched on.

If iCloud or device backup is enabled on iPhone or iPad, it may also include local progress and settings. Manage backup copies through the device or Apple account settings.

There is no advertising and no advertising identifier.

All 300 English puzzles and 30 short German puzzles are free. The other 324 German puzzles are one optional, one-time purchase, paid to and handled by Google Play or the App Store, which keep the payment details; there is no subscription. Restoring the purchase gives back access to the pack on the same store account, not puzzle progress, which lives only on the device.

Android permissions requested: android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, android.permission.INTERNET, com.android.vending.BILLING. INTERNET is required by the app framework to load the app's own files from the device; the app makes no requests of its own. com.android.vending.BILLING lets Google Play take the payment for the German pack.

The app never asks for the microphone, the camera or your location.

This policy is bundled with the app and can be read offline. If you separately visit our public GitHub Pages website, the hosting provider may process connection information such as your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy. This is separate from playing the installed app.
