Star Battle — privacy

This app collects nothing about you.

There is no account, no sign-up and no profile.

The app itself sends nothing to us, and nothing to any analytics or advertising service — there is none. Gameplay works offline. The app communicates directly with Apple's or Google's store for product and price lookup, ownership and pending purchase recovery, buying or restoring the one-time unlock, and transaction acknowledgment. This can happen at launch and on resume without a Buy or Restore tap. It never goes through a server of ours; we never see or store your payment details.

Completed-board markers are stored under starbattle.solved, saved stars and empty-cell notes under starbattle.progress.v1, your language choice under starbattle.locale, and whether you have bought the pack under starbattle.pack.unlocked, in local storage on your device. Clear removes the open puzzle's saved moves. Removing the app removes this local storage.

Completed-board markers and saved puzzle moves are kept on your device, and Android's own backup may include it if you have that switched on.

There is no advertising and no advertising identifier.

The app offers purchases.

Android permissions requested: android.permission.INTERNET. INTERNET is required by the app framework to load the app's own files from the device; apart from the store communication described above, the app makes no requests of its own.

The app never asks for the microphone, the camera or your location.
